How mail-in repair works

Six steps from drop-off to doorstep:

Tell us what is wrong — Fill out the intake form below with your contact details, device information, and a description of the problem.
Pay the $50 diagnostic fee — payment is required upfront before you ship your device. The $50 is credited toward your repair cost if you proceed.
Ship your device to us — pack it securely and send it to our Markham address below. You pay shipping to us.
We run the diagnostic — 1–2 days if your device powers on. If it does not power on, the diagnostic takes a minimum of 5 days, and we will then contact you with the repair cost and estimated completion time.
Approve and we repair — once you approve the quoted repair, we complete the work and test the device before it leaves.
We ship it back — your device is returned to the Canadian address you provide. If you approved the repair, we cover the return shipping.

Packing:

Use a sturdy box with padding on all sides.
Wrap the device separately so it cannot move inside the box.
Include the charger or power adapter if the problem could be power-related.
Back up your data before shipping, where possible.
Write your name and intake form reference on the outside of the box, or include a printed copy of your form inside.
Use a tracked shipping service and keep your tracking number. You are responsible for the device until it arrives with us.
Do not send accessories that are not related to the problem unless we ask for them.

We spec and quote — parts list plus $75 build fee; Windows installation +$50 with your legitimate licence; no charge for the quote.
50% deposit due upfront when you approve, balance on pickup or delivery.
We build and test — assembly, drivers, stress testing; pickup in Markham or shipping within Canada.

Warranty note: parts carry the manufacturer’s warranty only. Build turnaround and workmanship warranty period are confirmed in your written quote before work begins.
